The new frontier in the world of travel is glamping, luxury camping: facilities where the ‘glamour’ of comfort and design and the ‘camping’ experience come together in a unique experience. This is the concept behind the Terme di Vulci (Vulci Thermal Baths), a widespread resort that allows you to sleep under the stars in luxury tents. On the border between Lazio and Tuscany, the complex developed around the thermal spring is the new temple of natural wellness.
Inaugurated in 2021, Terme di Vulci Glamping & Spa is a charming structure designed for those seeking contact with nature, but without renouncing the comfort and elegance of a hotel room. In the resort there are no rooms, only tents, made of wood using dry construction techniques, and are the ultimate expression of the ecological philosophy of the Terme di Vulci Glamping, powered 100% by renewable sources. The tents are not prefabricated structures but are all handmade.
You can choose from three types: the Aminta – an Etruscan word for Love – hidden among the olive groves in the park with a spacious, all-wood private veranda, the Isveita – ‘new day’ – ideal for a romantic getaway, with their private thermal bath set into the outdoor patio, and then there is the Lautnita – ‘freedom’ – spacious with a living room and two double rooms, an outdoor relaxation area and a private bath. There are four large natural pools at different temperatures, from 40/42 degrees down to 28/30, each of which acts on different aspects of the body and mind: the alternation of hot and cold, for example, is a panacea for stimulating the circulation.
Terme di Vulci also applies its philosophy linked to nature and the territory in La Punta restaurant, where a constantly evolving food and wine proposal recounts the link with the land and the seasons. It serves local vegetables, local meats and cheeses, fresh fish from the sea and lake, and a wide range of vegetarian options.
