Where to go if you want to celebrate an unforgettable civil wedding? The answer is on the Latium coast, in Ostia to be precise. In fact, right in the center of the town is the Sala Azzurra, a location that Rome Capital provides for civil ceremonies.
The characteristic feature of this hall, in the annex of Ostia Lido’s City Hall, is the color of the walls and curtains: they are all a delicate shade of blue, giving the very idea of being surrounded by the sea. Light blue is also a color with calming properties, a not inconsiderable detail for a day of great emotion, in which every element that can relieve stress is welcome. The Sala Azzurra can accommodate up to 40 people, and is characterised by a very well-kept modern architecture, especially following the recent renovation.
It also has a large garden outside where one can indulge in photographs with relatives and friends, a pleasant place where the newlyweds can entertain guests after the wedding, while waiting to move to the chosen location to celebrate.
